Monotpes

During grad school, these became something of a speciality for me. I modify the three/four color process that I learned fom John Boyd at Wichita State in 2000, and combine additive and subtractive mark making in five to eight layers of ink. Monotypes allow me to work on a related series of prints wth a number of answers to the core idea or question that I am adressing. Each answer is accepted and used as a point of departure for the next image in the series. The imagery cuts across all of my areas of interest.
